Food packets and meals for slum areas
SocietyY.Y.P members regularly reach families in Sihor's slum areas and people in need with food packets and cooked meals. Even a simple celebration, like a birthday, becomes a chance to share snacks and a meal with children.
What we do
- Snacks distributed to children in a slum area as part of a birthday celebration.
- Batuk bhojan for 200+ children on a birthday (August 2024).
- In the 2020 Covid lockdown, when people could not leave their homes and food was a problem, members carried meals to about 200 people.
- Diwali (October 2025): clothes, slippers, sweets and firecrackers given to needy families.
